The research firm Forrester says that the economy will start recovering in late 2009 for the technology sector. It also points out the spending has hit the bottom and will start recovering in the 4th Quarter. I think it's because people like me are cutting back on spending. I have been looking out for a Desktop for sometime now. Got some good deals and still was not able to make my mind up for the deal. So I would wait for another month or two before locking some money on the desktop

Here is a software that lets you fine tune your mac. My Mac has been slow for some time now. It takes a long time to boot up and load the desktop. I have to try this software and I'll surely write a review about it for you guys. CNET says that its a good bet. It cleans up and structures the start up files. So it will be nice to have something like Onyx as your Mac doctor.

Groovy is something that I have been learning for some time. This article talks about the importance that groovy is gaining in the market and the advantages of being a groovy programmer. The book that I'm learning is " Groovy In Action " By Manning publications. The resemblance of groovy to Java makes the learning curve more steep and there is a lot going on with groovy. SpringOne 2GX 2009, the premier Java event of 2009, Combines the popular SpringOne Americas conference with the Groovy & Grails 2GX conference, SpringOne 2GX attendees will have the opportunity to attend two great events at one venue. So thats a positive sign for groovy and it indicates the importance that groovy is gaining among the Tech World.

Came across this article on CNN money. It seems that the Apple is running short of the new Iphone 3GS and especially the entry level white ones. They have got a widget to check out the stores near you regarding the availability. And also, there is a site called IFO apple store which keeps track of Apple's retail sales. Interesting.

Automatically updating your WordPress Site from Delicious Account
One of my friend was updating his Wordpress site with links from his Delicious bookmarks. I was wondering how? In this internet age nothing is hard to find. I googled it and found out some places where they have explained it. But, none of the post where so convincing that I make it work by reading the post. So I decided to help people with a more convincing post of mine.
Requirements:
1. You should have a delicious account. Delicious is a online bookmarking site ( You can save your bookmarks online and your bookmarks follow you where ever you go)
2. A site which supports XML-RPC interface. In our case we are talking about a site that is maintained using a word press. So how to enable support for XML-RPC on a wordpress ?
Read on.
Login to you wordpress admin console. Go to Settings and then click on Writing. In the “Remote publishing” section check the enable XML-RPC .
The settings page will look like this.
After you are done with this. Login to your delicious account. Click on settings.
Under the blogging section click on the Blog Posting link.
You will see a interface like this.
In this interface everything is self explanatory. What would be your out url in your case. Normally in wordpress sites after enabling the xml rpc interface the out url will be “http://yousitename.com/xmlrpc.php”. Set a time when your links has to be published to your wordpress site. It is in Universal time, that is GMT. So choose what would be appropriate for you.
After you are done wait for your site to get updated everyday. It’s that simple. Now every day there will be posts on your blog. You can add descriptions to your delicious links which will also be posted.

A Tribute to “The King of Pop”
Michael Jackson remained one of the most popular pop star during my school and college days in India. Everyone wanted to be him. Someone who can vaguely imitate his dance moves will be a star during my days. All the cultural events in any college will have a Michael Jackson song.
It’s so sad he is no more today. And it’s so annoying to see comments like ” Michael Jackson is dead. Sad, but now you can let your kids back out…” from my facebook friends. Yes, everyone does their share of mistakes, But, I don’t feel appropriate to talk about it when he is no more. He is a gem when it comes to pop, and for that at least he needs some respect.

SEO Plugins for Wordpress Blogs
I have started doing my own blogs based on my travel. But, I need someone to come look at what I’m doing here. Anything without audience is a waste of time. So I’m trying to use some SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to make my site popular. The first result that I got on google was SEO for Wordpress .If you feel, you want to grab some good audience then, better do some SEO (Search Engine Optimization) .
Note: I have seen some people doing SEO just blindly based on the Keywords they want. That might fool the Search Engines, But you’ll never get repeating audience. The amount time they might browse your contents will be really less.
